Comment: There will be a Gary High School Alumni Association Meeting on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the home of Bob & Carolyn Little. Lunch will be served at the house at 12:00 noon and the meeting will start at 1:00 p.m. Bob and Carolyn live at 1212 College Avenue, Bluefield, WV., directions to our house are: If you turn off Bland Road and come down College Avenue, our house is the 4th house on the right after you go past Walton Avenue but if you come up College Avenue from the red light at Maryland Avenue our house is the 5th house on the left, with a circle driveway and a flag pole in the front yard. Everyone is invited to come, so come on and join us, looking forward to see everyone this coming Saturday. Questions should be directed to Carolyn Little.

Comment: Barbara, Thanks for all the work you do on this site. It is beautiful. I love how it keeps all of us Coaldiggers connected. I neglected to have my dad's obit put in the Bluefield paper. His name was Dean Bell and he worked for US Steel in Gary, WV, for 40 years before retiring to his farm in Sparta, NC. I am sharing here so those from Gary who might have known him will know that he died on May 21, 2009, in Grayson, GA.
